Internet Setup Files

AK Internet makes it easy to setup your computer.  These setup files are small and will easily fit on a floppy disk.  We suggest you save the setup file(s) on your desktop or your My Documents folder.  With this software, you can setup your computer in approximately one minute.  It would take much longer to do this by phone with a technician.

Full Setup file - This file will setup your dialup connection and Email program such as Outlook Express, Outlook, or Mozilla/Netscape mail.  CAUTION:  If your internet login name is different than your Email prefix, or if you put multiple Email accounts under one Outlook Express profile, do not use this file.

Dialup setup file - This file will setup your dialup connection and make no changes to your Email settings.  This file is ideal for those who travel.  In less than one minute, it will help you reconfigure your computer to use any of our 28,000 dial-up numbers.  Keep it hand in "My Documents" or on your desktop.
