| Resetting your
Internet connection
This only applies to clients on our
SkyPilot wireless system, not DSL or
dialup.
If you have run router and computer
testing as mentioned at
http://www.accessky.net/routertroubleshooting.htm and that
hasn't restored your internet access, follow the steps below.
This is will reset your Internet access device that brings internet
into your home and to your computer (or router if you have one).
Please note: After you complete this
process you may want to repower your router again and possibly reboot
your computer.
A device called POE (power over ethernet)
sends power and data to your high speed internet access panel
located outside your home or office. To reset your POE, you
remove the electrical plug that is connected to the POE. Most,
but not all, POEs have a light that will go out when you remove the
plug. Nevertheless, you must remove power from the POE to
recycle the equipment. Pictures are below.

- Remove the black power wire and wait 30 seconds.
Make sure the light is off.
- Plug it back in.
- Wait approx 3 minutes for the unit to bootup.
